I've added a new download file on our website..."Various Slacker's TEs"...email your RP2.1 TEs and I'll include... 7/12/00: Another great night of flying guys...appears everyone liked the B1B escort mission...was tough keeping ahead of the striker and jammer flights but it was done...the escort boys took out the Mig-23s, Mig-29s and then the SU-27s flying CAP over the target area...the sead flight took out as many SA-6 and SA-8 sights as possible with the available weapons...landing was coolest watching a B1B come in for landing (Bone 1-1)...an SA-5 site took advantage of Reefer's lack of fuel...bummer dude...we then connected to Cobe and flew a mission...strikers hit thier targets...unfortunately, BB flying escort had a CTD...the sead flight lead by Cobe had some fun with SAM sites...good night of flying...we had Slick, Reefer, Cobe, Big Bird and then Scorpio and MadDog show up...'till next Weds dudes... 7/11/00: Pleased to announce we have a new member...after flying with this lazy bunch, Skynet still wishes to join...:-)...please welcome aboard Skynet... 7/5/00: Big Bird's back from vacation...Lake Tahoe was awesome...understand from Scorpio and Cobe, you all had some good flying...cool...looking forward to next Weds...I'll be around online this weekend looking to fly...and I'll put together a TE... 6/28/00: Great flying guys!...we had eight or more members show up...Rasta, Cobe, Bookum, Scorpio, Reefer, Big Bird, Mojoflow and another individual wishing to join...SkyNet...(picture enroute)...half-way through the night, we had to break up into two groups... Well, Big Bird is going on vacation...you all have fun next Weds...hopefully, withdrawls wont be that bad...(anyone got any methadone???)... 6/21/00: We had some connect problems tonight...we finally had to split up into two groups of 3 pilots each...six folks were able to make it...(Mojoflow, MadDog, Bookum, Cobe, Reefer and Big Bird)...Slick showed up later too...apparently, I didn't communicate well that we'd be using the new ABQ Roger Wilco server ("abqsvr.frq" file)...Rasta and Scorpio were looking for us...my apologies...I'll send out an email in this regard...Big Bird did flame two Mig-23s and damaged a third...:-)...anyone wish to post a debrief...send it via email and I'll post...'till next Weds...(sure look forward to Weds.)... 6/15/00: The RW server and the RW server hosted by Reefer's ISP (will discuss in upcoming email) are both back up... 6/14/00: Great night of flying!...Mojoflow hosted with his DSL connection and put up some TEs created by Cobe...(thanx go to Mojoflow and Cobe)...we had seven (7) pilots show up...Reefer, Scorpio, Bookum, Cobe, Mojoflow, MadDog and Big Bird...MadDog and Scorpio had to leave early after the first TE for family matters...then a couple of new individuals joined us briefly...Ramjets (who flew with us before with Cobe) and Blazter...both happened to be on the RW Tuner server on Channel 2, so they stopped by briefly...hope you guys had fun...to me, stepping over each other on RW seems to give a realistic flavor to Falcon...:-)... Some highlights...the first mission was a nuclear plant strike...the plant was hit and Big Bird wishes to express his gratitude to Mojoflow for nailing the Mig21 on his six...the second mission was another strike with Reefer and Big Bird flying escort/sweeep...and we did not get lost...:-)...on the third TE...Big Bird took some Mig-21 scrap metal down down the intake...kaboom...on the final TE...Big Bird saw a Slacker pilot fly right through Mojoflow's rounds as both pilots went after the same prey... Anyone wishing to post a debrief...just send it via email...'till next Weds... 6/7/00: Well...we had some computer issues...some crashes...with both Falcon and Roger Wilco...bummer...but the following dudes were able to attend...Scorpio, Mojoflow (aka DSL man), Reefer, Cobe, Bookum and Big Bird...Rafter stopped by to say howdy...towards the end of the night we did get in one decent TE...the mission was a deep strike to destroy a bridge in order to delay North Korean tank and IFV battalions from reaching the FLOT...the mission was a success...there were some SAM sites and Mig's flying CAP enroute...the escort flight (AIs) did a terrible job...the strikers had to deal with Mig-23s ingressing to the target area...Cobe downed all four (4) Mig-23s, destroyed a SA-2 radar van and damaged the radar system of a SA-3 site with HARM missles...Cobe went on further and destroyed the bridge with Mark-84s...Scorpio was able to finish off the SA-3 site with a HARM missle as well...Big Bird made it to the target area and shot down a Mig-29 with a 9P shot and another Mig-29 with cannon fire...with the enemy CAP patrol dispatched...Big Bird destroyed numerous AAA and SAM site vehicles with cluster bombs...I'm sure Bookum and Mojoflow got some kills here as well...we need to fly this mission again...:-)...we also need to consider splitting up into groups next time to reduce lag and minimize CTDs...'till next weds... 5/31/00: Had a nice night of flying...Slick, MadDog, Mojoflow, Cobe and Big Bird were there...we utilized iBeta's Realism Patch version 2.1 (PR2.1)...the patch appears to expand F4's capability...the AAA is very nice, but 120s can and often do miss their targets...the group flew three missions...(Big Bird missed the first)...the second was a strike on a runway and the third was a nuclear power plant strike...on the runway strike mission...the escorts got some kills before being downed and the strike package hit the target (durandals along the center of the runway), but was tagged by AAA egressing from the target...Big Bird had a nice turning engagement with a Mig-19 while North Korean flak was bursting around him...(awesome graphics)...on the nuclear power plant strike the escort and sead flights cleared the path for the strikers who hit the target...Big Bird will endeavor to create a TE and post a detailed debrief (kills, target hits, flight results, etc.) here on the "Slackers' News" page...'till next Weds... 5/25/00: Following debrief of 5/24/00 provided by Reefer: "We had a long night of flying over all with pilots showing up at random times. The first group started on time with Slick, Cobe, Rasta and Reefer. Good to hear from you Rasta. We had quite a few technical difficulties hooking up. Slick had to reboot as well as Reefer. We also had a intermittent pause throughout the flight. I (Reefer) was locked up trying to receive units while the mission proceeded but it sure sounded fun. Slick and Rasta bailed from there and Bookum, Maddog and Scorpio showed to fly several more missions with Cobe and Reefer. One mission was the NightRaid and started off seemingly easy but all pilots limped home or diverted to enemy airstrips. Big Bird checked in on RW to see if we were having fun and we were. He couldn't stick around though. Maybe next week with new missions too! The third flight was one that Big Bird wrote. We were tasked to defend our air base form the Red Team who were actually friendly planes trying to tag us in a War Game scenario. This one provided quite a few close encounters and lots of action. All of us made it back and landed on the bombed out runways. It seems that about half of us have installed the RP2a patch and possibly there are some connect issues with this one. I suppose we should all look at installing it to be on the same frequency. Was a good night of flying. See you all next week." 5/24/00: Unfortunately, Big Bird was unable to attend the fun...:-(...understand many guys showed up for the fun Reefer, Scorpio, Cobe, Slick, Rasta, MadDog, Bookum, etc...if anyone wishes, email a debrief and I'll post it... 5/17/00: Outstanding night of flying!...we had five pilots connecting...MadDog, Reefer, Slick, Cobe and Big Bird...Bookum showed up but went down due to computer problems...Scorpio showed up later...we used Cobe's "other" phone line with a 50k connection...Cobe ran at 33.6 and everyone else at 28.8...awesome flying...no taxi-way crashes and no significant lagging... The first mission was a strike mission against an enemy reactor...the flights went well...the escort flight cleared the skies of Migs and assisted the strikers by calling out AAA and SA-7 sites...with so little lag and real-time voice communications, the strikers were able to heed the escorts warnings and evaded numerous AAA and SA-7 sites...the target was hit...the flights RTB'd and landed safely... The second mission was even better...the Slackers were tasked with stopping two DAC strike flights assigned to strike home plate...there was just enough aircraft, missles and gun rounds to stop the attackers...first the F-15Es were called out and engaged...then the F-111s were called out and destroyed...then while chasing the A-10s, two different escort (F-15Cs) flights showed up...thank goodness they didn't show up at the same time...(right Reefer!)...some awesome close-in dogfighting ensued...Big Bird had some great visuals on an engagement between Cobe and an F-15C...all enemy aircraft were engaged and destroyed...the flights RTB'd and again Big Bird, Reefer and Cobe had some awesome visuals on the tarmac after landing...the friendly airstrip was undamaged...'till next Weds... 5/16/00: Understand Slick, Cobe and Maestro showed up for the squadron's first "gunzo" night...Big Bird was unable to attend...understand all three had fun until Maestro had to go fly the real thing...(ggg)...then Slick proceeded to kick some butt...:-)...anyone wish to send a debrief...I'll be happy to post... 5/13/00: We have a new member...please welcome Maestro...we are pleased to have someone with your knowledge and experience aboard... 5/10/00: Another Weds night of flying...six pilots were able to make it...Rasta, Slick, Scorpio, Cobe, Big Bird and a new individual expressing interest to join...Maestro...haven't seen Rasta and Slick in a while...was great seeing you guys again...well, we had some connect issues...but everyone got up and running...and we were able to fly with six pilots...but there was some lag...the TEs didn't go so well...Falcon's famous AI taxi bug kept showing up and destroying a number of aircraft...that sucked...was looking forward to some good co-op TEs...it appears that 4 pilots is a good number to fly with...we may consider splitting up into two groups...one group on a channel and the other on another channel...the real fun came with dogfighting...Maestro and Scorpio got some good gun shots as did Rasta and Cobe...even Big Bird got a few kills...(ggg)...it has been determined to add a "gunzo" night during the week...check the "Next Flight Button"...'till next Weds... 5/6/00: Making some color adjustments to the web page...also, we have a few more pilots expressing interest to join...look for Ramjets (who actually flew with us a couple of weeks ago when Big Bird's monitor was down), EagleKnight and Maestro this Weds... 5/3/00: Three (3) members made it tonight...everyone else must have been at the O'Club...Bookum, Reefer and Big Bird showed up...we flew a new mission created by Big Bird...it was a DACT mission...we were flying two BARCAP groups of 4 F-16s each...we were briefed that the "bad guys" were going to strike our airbase at Chungju...two separate strike groups with escorts were inbound...30 miles from base we picked up the tallies on radar...a group of 4 F-111s, with F-15s flying escort, were coming in fast and low from the North East...a second grup of Strike Eagles with escorts were coming in high from the North West...Cowboy flight engaged the Strike Eagles while Falcon flight engaged the 'Varks...on the first mission the escorts did not reach rendevous...the strike forces were easy pickings...the second mission was not so easy...two 'Varks made it past the screen and hit our runway...didn't matter much, we were winchester and bingo anyway...Big Bird didnt quite make it to the runway...ooopppsss....everyone got a good number of kills and the flights were smooth...some Warthogs showed up over the runway with Mavericks just to spice things up...it was interesting to see Hawk batteries take out a 'Vark...seeing the plane (AI) drop it's stores in order to try to evade the missle was awesome...but it didn't work...also, seeing a damaged Strike Eagle (AI) jettison stores and attempt a run for home is equally intense...unfortunately, AMRAAMS can run faster than a F-15E...:-) It was great flying...I'm gonna tweak the mission up a little more though...'till next Weds... 5/3/00: We are gonna add an inter-squadron "gunzo" night during the week...members are to email thier votes...also, Cobe is working on squadron "gunzo" competitons...check out the "Next Flight" button for information... 4/26/00: Big Bird was a "no show" again...but he now has a new monitor and will be flying next Weds... 4/19/00: Big Bird was a "no show" with monitor trouble...manufacturer may replace it if still under warranty...gotta find that warranty...:-) 4/15/00: Taxes suck... 4/12/00: A bunch of members showed up...Cobe, Reefer, Scorpio, Mad Dog (who said hi), Bookum (who flew for a little while), Mojo Flow and Big Bird...after some connection issues, we flew a mission created by Big Bird...a strike mission on a headquarters and depot site...unfortunately, Big Bird needs some more practice setting up missions...the strike flight crashed and burned on the runway...(ggg)...and all we did was avoid SAM sites...:-)...then we flew a mission created by Cobe...the escort flight did a good job keeping the Migs of the strikers...unfortunately, the Army boys took out the bridges themselves before we could get there...then the remaining pilots flew some 2v2...overall, it was a good night of flying...Big Bird needs to practice BFM and mission creation...if anyone wants to create and have the squadron fly it...just email it...'till next weds... 4/5/00: Big Bird was a bit late for the flight...with the wife out of town, after some chili dogs and a beer, he made it...Cobe, Reefer, Bookum, Mad Dog and even Mojo Flow was there for a little bit...Slick was out of town and Rafter and Rasta are soon to return...the first few flights (I understand) were concerned with taking out some bridges...pilots flew strike, sweep and sead...the final missions were a interdiction and a strike on a nuclear power plant...great flying with ya Reefer!...I need to figure out a way to set up a TE with capital ships...that would be different!...I'm sending out an email with some squadron info...'till next Weds... 3/29/00: The Slackers flew again...first, I'd like to welcome Mad Dog and Scorpio aboard!...second, we were able to utilize the Roger Wilco Tuner program...unfortunately, one member had a system issue which will be sorted out...third, we had seven (7) pilots flying!...Reefer, Cobe, Bookum, Mad Dog, Scorpio, Mojoflow and Big Bird...we got the iBeta realism patch going as well...we may need to consider breaking into groups though due to lag...we're pushing the envelope of technology!...fourth, thanx go to Scorpio for providing a squadron "skin"...finally, thanx to all members for their time in bearing with the group in getting the new comms program up and running...'till next Weds... 3/22/00: Another good night of flying...sure looking forward to Weds...tonight's missions where strikes against airfields...the great news is that we are now able to use multi-channeling with Roger Wilco...we'll attempt to use this ability next week...also, the squadron has decided to utilize the iBeta realism patch...'till next Weds... 3/15/00: Good flying dudes...we were able to connect with six (6) pilots...Slick, Reefer, Cobe, Mojoflow, Bookum and Big Bird...nice flying co-op TEs...nice that Cobe and Reefer are working on TEs...I'm gonna work on the RW Tuner program...try to establish a couple of channels...also, I would like to welcome Bookum to the squadron...for those that don't know, his wife is expecting any day!...that will impact his joystick time!...Bookum is a full time Air Force Reserve servicemember assigned to an F-16 squadron...:-)...there are two additional pilots who have expressed interest...if they join, that would put us at 10...which could be the limit...again great flying and looking forward to next Weds... 3/8/00: Five (5) squadron members showed up...Slick, Rafter, Cobe, Reefer and Big Bird...flew some home grown TEs...attacked two separate runways...some members flew strike...others escort...others SEAD suppression...and others flew aggressors...(the 120s sure are mean)...great flying...we may need to attempt using the iBeta 2 (-pf 200) patch though to reduce warping...some pilots were flamed...others reached thier target...anyone want to email a debrief?...any Slackers member who has time...(ggg)...let's continue with the home grown TEs...'till next Weds... 3/1/00: As always, the squadron flight was awesome...first, I would like to welcome two new squadron members..."Cobe" and "Mojo Flow"...welcome aboard...second, I would like to state that we were able to connect five pilots via TCP/IP...we flew numerous TEs without any lag or warping... The squadron flew a number of strike missions against a couple of nuclear reactors...all missions were accomplished...minimal loss of aircraft...I'm kinda tired, so I won't go into a detailed debrief...needless to say...those hauling bombs hit the target...and those flying escort got some Mig kills...if anyone desires to elaborate on the flights...just type up a debrief and email it to Big Bird...thanx...:-) 2/23/00: The squadron flight was a blast...at first Slick, Reefer and Big Bird showed up...we flew the "Deep Dawn Strike" mission...twice...both Slick and Reefer flew the strike package...Big Bird took lead on the sead suppression package...on the first attempt, Big Bird was flamed...but the second went better...weaving through the valleys...Big Bird and his wingman eliminated the SA-3 and AAA sites...taking out the radars, the strike group was clear to demo the bridge (the package target)...there were some SU-27s and Mig-29s flying CAP in the area...but are hardly worth mentioning...both Slick and Reefer got some kills... Later, Rasta showed up immediately after Slick had to eject...Big Bird, Reefer and Rasta flew an offensive counter air mission with Big Bird flying escort...the skies were virtually clear and the strike group was able to hit the target (maverics and DBUs)...after the mission...both Reefer and Rasta went head-to-head... While this was going on...Rafter was flying with a new prospective squadron pilot..."MojoFlow"...(who wishes to fly next Weds)...Rafter and MojoFlow flew a successful Sead Escort mission...the tally was a few ZUs...SA-2s...a Fan Song Radar...Barric Radars...etc...with three A-A kills thrown in...they cleared the skies for the strike package and all package aircraft returned to base safely...(all good landings)... Looking forward to the next squadron flight... 2/20/00: The squadron has a new member...please welcome "Reefer"...(picture on the way)... 2/16/00: Big Bird and Slick found themselves flying the Korean skies again...this time the mission was a deep strike...the target was a heavy bridge used by the DPRK...the army wanted it taken down...ingressing in the weeds rocketing at over 500 knots...both Slick and Big Bird followed the steering points in order to avoid the nests of SAMs and AAA...as Slick pulled up into the vertical at the IP for his run in...a SA-3 site found him....calling Big Bird, the Bird silenced the SA-3 sites radar with a HARM snap shot...Slick continued his run..."Cowboy-1 rolling in hot"...with Mark-84s...the bridge went down...as Big Bird turned for his run in..."archer inbound"...bang...bang...both Big Bird and Slick are pushing up Korean daises...where did those Su-27s come from??? 2/9/00: Slick and Big Bird hooked up to fly escort for a F-15 Strike Eagle package on a deep strike mission...Slick and Big Bird quickly dispatched a flight of three Mig-29s flying CAP over the target area...with AWACS giving the "all clear", the Strike Eagles rolled in and hit the target with LGBs...unfortunately, the F-15Es were hit by AAA egressing to the west and were downed...(no SEAD support on this hop)...SAR was called in...both Big Bird and Slick formed up in perfect formation and returned to home plate for an uneventful landing...great flying... 2/2/00: The first squadron flight was awesome...all squadron members were able to make it...(Rafter, Rasta, Slick & Big Bird)...after some 2v2...we flew a challenging TE...Rasta and Slick were downed over the target area (SAR was called in)...Big Bird was severely damaged by AAA and later "crashed"...Rafter was the only one to survive intact...awesome flying and thanx to all members... 1/26/00: Second "no joy" squadron flight...next flight to be scheduled..let's get going dudes... 1/20/00: Squadron flight was no joy...Rasta had a gig...Slick's computer was down...(modem troubles...recently fixed)...and Rafter was AWOL...not a problem though...we're the "Slackers"...ok...gonna schedule the next squadron flight...hope to see you then... 1/11/00: The web site is up and running...let's get flying...
Slackers' News:
10/4/00: Wasn't able to make Weds night...Cobe sent the following debrief...
"We had myself, Bookum, Slick, Reefer, and Hammer. We started out with the
Blockade TE. As usual I got shot down flying the sweep mission. I usually
get shot down 3 times in this mission, but tonight it happened 5 times. I
cannot stay alive in it for longer than about 15 seconds. Before I can
figure out where I am I get hit by something. I have worked on modifying it
all week. Nothing works for me in it. I have noticed that there are some
hidden SAMs in it.
I also keep seeing these RIM-7 bombs falling at the tgt site. They are red

the mission, but they attack our home base and do not fly near the tgt area.
So I don't know where these bombs are coming from. Also there is a double
stream of these bombs and there appears to be thousands of them. When they
start falling the program starts stuttering so badly I can't control the
plane.
So again we seem to gave some hidden planes that do not show up in the edit
mode. Bottom line is I am deleting this mission. Something is wrong --at
least with my version.
Anyhow we lost Slick and Bookum --they had to leave and me and Reefer and
Hammer flew one more and had a great time."

5/25/00: Following debrief of 5/24/00 provided by Reefer:
"We had a long night of flying over all with pilots showing up at random times.
See you all next week."
5/24/00: Unfortunately, Big Bird was unable to attend the fun...:-(...understand many guys showed up for the fun Reefer, Scorpio, Cobe, Slick, Rasta, MadDog, Bookum, etc...if anyone wishes, email a debrief and I'll post it...
4/19/00: Big Bird was a "no show" with monitor trouble...manufacturer may replace it if still under warranty...gotta find that warranty...:-)
4/15/00: Taxes suck...
The squadron flew a number of strike missions against a couple of nuclear reactors...all missions were accomplished...minimal loss of aircraft...I'm kinda tired, so I won't go into a detailed debrief...needless to say...those hauling bombs hit the target...and those flying escort got some Mig kills...if anyone desires to elaborate on the flights...just type up a debrief and email it to Big Bird...thanx...:-)
2/23/00: The squadron flight was a blast...at first Slick, Reefer and Big Bird showed up...we flew the "Deep Dawn Strike" mission...twice...both Slick and Reefer flew the strike package...Big Bird took lead on the sead suppression package...on the first attempt, Big Bird was flamed...but the second went better...weaving through the valleys...Big Bird and his wingman eliminated the SA-3 and AAA sites...taking out the radars, the strike group was clear to demo the bridge (the package target)...there were some SU-27s and Mig-29s flying CAP in the area...but are hardly worth mentioning...both Slick and Reefer got some kills...
