I had another flat tire! I patched it and filled it. If the tire holds for a few hours I will leave.
Christy had some logistical problems so I didn't leave till 1530... I made it to Flagstaff, I camped beside the Expressway on a ranch road. I woke up just before a parade of pickup trucks came rumbling down the road, I anticipated having some 'words' with them, but they waved... cool.

I dodged dead Armadillos all day, I had never seen on in the wild but by the time I was an hour into Oklahoma I had seen my fill of them... I got about half way down Rte 78 between Memphis and Birmingham and it was getting dark so I got a room in Tupelo.

I pulled into Charleston about 1700, it was a little tricky finding the place but I managed, Orv was out so I went to Denny's alone... I went to bed early.

We held the pre-business meeting early and George and I got taken on a tour of Charleston by Dick Lillie. Dick lives in Charleston and he was the fella who did all the work setting the reunion up, he did a good job, though, by his admission, the most important thing he did was to pick the right hotel.
